Linen Finish Gatefold Card Blanks

Gatefold cards—sometimes also called gate fold card blanks—have two side panels that open from the centre. This distinctive shape makes them ideal for wedding invitations, evening invitations, vow renewals, anniversary invitations and other special stationery where the opening should feel part of the design.

The linen-effect surface has a subtle woven appearance that adds texture while retaining an elegant, understated look. It works particularly well for traditional, romantic and rustic wedding stationery and can be decorated with satin ribbon, ready-made ribbon bows, vellum wraps, layered panels and paper flowers.

A5 and A6 Linen Gatefold Card Dimensions

A5 gatefold card blanks measure approximately 148 × 210mm when folded and are supplied with coordinating C5 envelopes. The larger format provides plenty of room for detailed invitation wording, decorative panels and additional wedding information.

A6 gatefold card blanks measure approximately 105 × 148mm when folded and are supplied with coordinating C6 envelopes. This compact format works particularly well for wedding invitations, save-the-dates, evening invitations and handmade greeting cards.

Printing and Decorating Your Linen Cards

The cards arrive flat and pre-scored, allowing you to print or decorate them before folding. They may be suitable for inkjet printing, but this depends on your printer’s maximum card weight, supported dimensions and feeding method.

Because the linen surface is textured, very small wording and fine design details may print differently than they would on smooth card. We recommend testing a sample first or attaching a separately printed smooth panel if your design contains particularly fine text.
