At The Creative Bride, designing your wedding stationery isn’t a task to tick off your list, it’s part of the experience.

From the first conversation to the moment you hold your finished invitations, every step is designed to feel calm, exciting, and completely personal.

1. The First Conversation

It starts simply.

A relaxed conversation where you can share your ideas, your colours, your venue - or even just a feeling you want your wedding to have.

There’s no pressure and no expectations.

Just a chance to explore what’s possible and whether bespoke design feels right for you.

2. Your Design Consultation

When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll book your one-hour design consultation (£75, fully credited towards your order).

This is where everything begins to take shape.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Your colour palette and textures
  • The overall mood and style of your wedding
  • Florals, décor, and inspiration you’d love to reflect
  • Practical details like quantities, inserts, and timings

By the end, you won’t just have ideas - you’ll have a clear direction and complete confidence in what comes next.

3. Concept Creation

This is where your design starts to come to life.

Using everything we’ve discussed, we carefully select materials, finishes, and layering techniques to create something that feels completely yours.

You’ll receive a digital proof - and if needed, a physical sample - so you can experience the look, weight, and texture before moving forward.

4. Refinement & Approval

Nothing is rushed.

We refine every detail together - from fonts and layout to colours and finishing touches - until everything feels just right.

Only when you’re completely happy do we move into production.

5. Handcrafting Begins

This is where the magic really happens.

Each invitation is carefully printed, cut, and assembled by hand in our Cheshire studio.

Ribbons are tied, wax seals are pressed, layers are built with precision - every piece is handled with care and checked to perfection.

No production lines. No shortcuts.

Just time, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

6. The Presentation

Your finished invitations are beautifully packaged, ready to be opened in a way that feels just as special as the day itself.

For many couples, this is the moment it all starts to feel real.

And it’s one you’ll never forget.

Timelines

Every design is made to order, so timings vary depending on complexity. As a guide:

  • Consultation to first proof: 1–2 weeks
  • Approval to delivery: 3–6 weeks

We recommend starting your bespoke journey at least 6 months before your wedding to allow time for design, production, and sending.
